have an admin only/hidden board where you can move useless threads. this would be more clean than locking/deleting original post. idk if this is possible on proboards though

Yes, hidden boards are indeed possible in ProBoards, and permissions can be set to who can view it. This is a decent suggestion, but deleting the thread itself is a better option.

Fun Fact: typing [ safyire ] without spaces will produce "ƪ(¬‿¬)ʃ"! Use with caution!
