So just recently I posted a level "sneak peek" of my level "Constellation", however, it received no replies. Now I just finished it, and I would love to have your guys' opinions. Feedback is much appreciated Video everyplay.com/videos/26775433ID: 17641539
I think it's all-right, not great, but just fine. Maybe borderline feature-worthy, but that's just my opinion.

Nice use of moving blocks! Music Sync: Work on the music sync at the start. Gameplay doesn't really fit to song. All in all the music sync is pretty alright, but I know you can do a bit better, especially try to sync the gameplay with the music. Design: Please fill in at 0:15, it looks incomplete. The colors are a bit too bright at 0:21 imo. Work on the transition at 0:49, it looks a bit weird. Your design is very original. Especially 0:57 is awesome The ground color is a bit too bright at 0:50 and the contrasts between the BG and ground doesn't really work for me. All in all the design is very detailed and with some minor fixes it will be amazing! Gameplay: Make the mirror portal visible or at least warn the player about it. It looks a bit unfair. Gameolay all in all looks alright, but some of the gravity portals are hard to predict and should be more visible somehow. Originality: 0:43 haha, awesome XD I feel like your levels design is very original. I like it! Overall Score: 8/10 Status: FEATURE-WORTHY-

I synced the ball part and the cube/robot parts as best as I could, but there's nothing I can really do about the ship and wave Thanks so much for the feedback and rating! I appreciate it greatly

Looks nice. But if youre going to use a mirror portal, i recommend that you make it visible instead of tricking the player

Looks nice. But if youre going to use a mirror portal, i recommend that you make it visible instead of tricking the player You cannot tell from the video, but every mirror portal transition has invisible preventive barriers from people who click frantically when transitioning. I've tried it on real life friends and also twitch streamers, and they certainly work. I can post a video of me running into them as well if that would help. As far as I know, there aren't many cheap deaths in this level, but I can see why the video would seem like it

Constellations by Artsy; 6Gameplay: 10/12This level has some really awesome gameplay. I really enjoyed most of the gameplay throughout the whole level. The way you managed to use alpha triggers and moving objects without making things unpredictable was masterful. I enjoyed how there were some invisible portals that didn't hinder you whatsoever. While playing the level, I was constantly in motion, which makes the gameplay much better. I love how you shrinked the portals smaller, that way it feels much more unique while passing through them. I would make the ball part a little more active, as I found it to be the most slow and non-entertaining section in the level. Not only that, but I would also add some arrows there indicating where you should tap. Some less experienced players will not realize that there are invisible portals and fall off everytime. I would also remove the invisible purple jump pads at the ship transition because most players will still be tapping and if you tap at the same time as you hit one of those, destruction happens. I would also add the pause button for all the pauses, instead of just the first. But that is minor. Overall, the gameplay would basically be flawless if you fixed some minor details. Design: 9/10I was absolutely amazed by the amount of unique designs found in this level. The way you executed the designs was great. Those constellations were awesome. I didn't like the robot part however. The spike placing was messy and the purple orb star didn't look good. It was kind of rushed. Then came the end, and everything was great again. I think some famous creators should take inspiration from you Deco + Effects: 7/8Awesome deco everywhere except the robot part. It looked messy and kind of dissapointed me. I suggest getting the ridiculously amazing custom background from the end and putting it for the robot. I especially liked how you used the shrink option to make your own micro-decorations Thumbs up to you Music Sync: 5/5
All I could ask for. Transitions, flashes, beating objects. Everything was there. Bonus: 5/5
I really enjoyed playing the level and looking at the designs xD Overall: 36/40
90% Feature Worthy kiriE do you think this is a good review?
