I've removed all speed portals. Restarted the game. Went in-game and tried to reset the speed. Nothing's working. The further I move in the level, the more the level gets out of sync. Help, please ;A;

Help, please ;A; You using a copyable? Does that copyable have a secret way with a speed portal perhaps? Sorry but it's the only thing I can think of for SEVERE off-sync. A little is normal and to be expected.

Okay. The problem has spread across all my levels. Even levels that I have not made. Has this happened before? If not, should I consider a re installation?

YO M8RIX I GOT UR BACK Try replacing speed portals. It happens sometimes that you put down a portal and the game just doesn't register it when dealing with start pos. HERE IS THE FIX: Play through the level with ignore damage, make sure to hit all the speed portals and PAUSE EVERY SECOND. Once the music starts skipping ahead or behind every time you pause and resume you have passed the offending portal. Just delete it and put a new one down. Game bug.

It has been 3 months since the last post, but this is very urgent. I hope someone notices this... It's the same issue, but worse. Even without any speed portal placed, the music in the level editor always goes off sync. ( I followed Glaceon's tip to pause every second: in normal speed (no portals), the music immediately skips backward a few seconds.) Today, I planned on building a level, however, it happened again: I playtested, then paused. When I resumed it, the music skipped a few seconds backwards! And that is without any speed portal being placed. Because of this, I can't even properly build a level. Do I have no choice but to reinstall GmD?

Instead of posting in an old thread, you should've made a new one, that way more people would've saw this, and try and see if your offset in the options page is screwed up, that's probably not the problem but it's a start :L

This is pretty common on phone for me, songs like space battle would have song delays further in the level, removing speed portals doesn't change anything either. No idea how to fix /

I found a fix for this problem:
1 - Save your data through the game 2 - Go to C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\GeometryDash 3 - Erase "CCGameManager.dat" and "CCLocalLevels.dat" do a backup before 4 - Load your data trough the game 5 - Problem solved
The cause seems to be a corrupted save file but i'm not sure why (i'm 90% sure the mgostih custom objets hack causes this)

I removed that one. It worked for me for a while but the bug returned, this time with the offset being normal. I found a fix for this problem: 1 - Save your data through the game 2 - Go to C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\GeometryDash 3 - Erase "CCGameManager.dat" and "CCLocalLevels.dat" do a backup before4 - Load your data trough the game 5 - Problem solved The cause seems to be a corrupted save file but i'm not sure why (i'm 90% sure the mgostih custom objets hack causes this) Thank you very much! I instinctively backed up my data yesterday before posting this because I felt that I had to delete some stuff... turns out I was right. The problem was solved, and now I can go back to building levels. Thanks a lot, once again!
