Necroposters in the past, made no constructive feedback and only bumped the post back on top. So, my suggestion for the rule would be:
"Necroposting is not allowed at all. All posts made on the same thread with more than 1 week time seperation from the previous post will be considered as a necropost. 10% Warning/per necropost."
If unclear, my suggestion was to forbid necroposting entirely, since there was not a single necropost that was made because it was needed.

This could work, although the minimum duration for it to be considered a necropost would probably get disagreed on no matter what the duration is. Oh well, things like that always happen  If this ever becomes a rule then of course we should make an exception of actual constructive necroposts and posts on boards that are rarely used. (Texture Pack board, etc) |

If necroposters make legitimate posts that contribute to the thread I don't see why they're so bad :/

True, but there were not many, if any constructive necroposts in the past. but even an amendment to the rule will not stop necro posters, dumb guests and users will continue to break the rules and those who wanted to make a legitimate necropost would only be turned away. So we would gain nothing |
