The map packs these days have levels in them that frustrate a lot of users, and I might have a way to fix that to make the levels in map packs more loved by the users.
So, RobTop isn't really active on this forum anymore, but if he ever starts it back up, we can show him our list of recommendations for Map Packs, and here's how it works!
So, this almost works like the Level Suggestion system, but it's a bit less complex.
Users can pick three levels and potentially even a name for the map pack, but they have to make sure they're balanced with each other, as that is what map packs are all about. So, keeping this in mind, we have people who come and judge peoples' suggestions on how well the levels correspond with each other and if they think that the organization of the map pack is good enough that RobTop may take it into consideration, the people who are moderators of the Map Pack suggestion group thing will move them to a different section similar to the "Feature-Worthy Levels" tab in the Level Suggestion system, and moderators can delete or ignore the map packs they see as inadequate or unbalanced. Except there aren't tiers like there are in the Level Suggestion system. There's just a place where mods select map packs that they see as professional and could really be an actual map pack and move them to a page RobTop checks.
If RobTop sees good ideas for map packs, he doesn't have to do as much thinking, and can get right to coding. That way, the community will do even more work for him Given the few number of map packs that were added to the game in such great time leads me to believe that Map Packs take a lot of coding, but we would be doing as much as possible for him so that all he has to do is the coding and not the surfing through levels and thinking about what is best, just for us to complain about them. In fact, if so many good ideas come to him, he might make the process of actually making a map pack easier for him, which means we get more map packs in less time, which means we get more secret coins, which means he will need to make more achievements in the upcoming updates, which gives more goals to the players.
The way I see it, it's a win-win situation, but I would like to bring it up to you guys and see what you think of it first. I'm hoping it can become a good element of the community, but it could also go down in flames. I'll leave it up to you guys to decide what we can do
