I'm really hyped for SWI being finished and releasing as soon as it gets verified, but i heard a lot of complaints about it being messy and having bad deco. Honestly imo the only core part (which doesn't necessarily mean bad btw) is the ship. I'm interested in hearing your thoughts

The APTeam one no. The deco is kinda sloppy and boring and lacks any sort of charm.
The Viprin one isn’t great but it’s a bit better.

Its not a masterpiece or anythinh.
But its still okyish ig. altho its just another NC remake.
Definitely better than most of KrmaLs levels. Thats all i can say

The first like 30% is pretty messy but the rest actually looks ok even if if obscures gameplay a little. Can’t defend the gameplay though they could have at least tried to make sonic wave better lmao.

The apteam one has pretty garbage deco, but the Viprin one is actually cool looking, but not amazing

I mean the APTeam one isn't the best looking level, but not as horrible as people often say. In the end I feel like they tried to make it look so good while staying true to SW, which can't really work.
SW itself isn't great as source material, but I'm not a fan of the core style they went with.
Finally, the colors. I know Sonic Wave is all blue, but at least giving the level subtle hue changes would make it stand out and look quite a lot better.
