Please, tell me more about how you can judge insane and extreme KrmaL levels. If you play levels way beyond your skill level, most usually you’ll have a shit time. I don’t care if you played fucking uh, Hyperio Technia. It’s still gonna suck. |

As for KrmaL being a good creator?
For non-joke levels his deco is always good (except for maybe Rearmed, although it’s not bad), and his gp is hit or miss (from my experience of Rearmed, Lit Fuse, and hi). Is he a good creator? I’m more prone to enjoy gp, so I’d say he’s average, although I haven’t played Falling Up, BLBL, Heartbeat, nor xo so take that as you will.

KrmaL is okay, Lit Fuse was tedious when I was beating it but it's still got some really cool visuals for the time. I find his raw execution really weird, but it's a bit of a double-edged sword. On one hand you have something like Black Blizzard which has enough of a focus on the effects to dristract you from the lack of block design, but xo feels like it's missing a lot of stuff and didn't reach its full potential. Even if he's very sub-par, I reckon he's had a big influence of effects creators in a sense of encouraing more creative levels.

Those were all his serious projects, but I do wanna talk about some megacollabs he participated in. Not all of them, but some. Keep in mind, I actually have not played like all of these, so take my gameplay stuff with a grain of salt. Megacollab Parts: Valor: One of KrmaL's first megacollab parts, you can definitely tell a bit of age. This also looks insanely unfun to play. The effect in this part I actually wouldn't say is all that bad though. The sync with the music is quite nice. I'd give this part a 6/10.
Cosmic Calamity: Actually, this I have played. Many, many, many times. The effects he put around the player is stunning. KrmaL has definitely some of the best pulse trigger use I have ever seen. The colors in here are magnificent too, and overall it looks amazing. The gameplay in this part is also really fun, with teh exception of the spam. The spam in this part is actually a little bit trash, but it gets a tiny bit consistent after a while. I'd give this part a nice 8/10.
Divergence: An old, unreleased megacollab from MrPPs, this part actually in my opinion, still holds to this day. Outdated? Maybe a little, but that doesn't stop this from looking amazing. The effect he has doing with the blocks looks so cool, I would love to see that done more in levels today. The gameplay looks a bit clunky at times, but I still love this. I'd give it a solid 8/10 from me.
Mystic: The gameplay here looks insanely fun to play, and in my opinion, this is KrmaL's most "appealing to the eye" gameplay. (update: after looking at the part, I notice that there's two names credited for the part, the other being dysfunctionalpopo, so I removed the deco part of this review. overall 9/10 though.)
Digital Descent: Is there anything I haven't already said about KrmaL? Amazing pulse trigger usage, good background effects, this is 100% his best megacollab part. The trigger orbs in the wave can be a little weird though. 10/10. Even his megacollab parts are all rounded out, I would say that his Divergence part is better than even whatever his part is in Heartbeat. you forgot one I actually didn't consider Heartbeat due to me just simply not knowing what krmal did and didn't make he made all of heartbeat. did you mean alive? even if you took out alive completely it would just be 70, not 60 I made all of Heartbeat's gameplay, but at most maybe about 5% of the decoration, all of which is at the start. I timestamped the parts Anubis and Blaireswip worked on in the video's comments By and large, Alive is Galzo's level. I'm pretty sure it was already finished and uploaded on his account, but he took it down and handed it off to me, and my part was added at the end so I wouldn't be *completely* stealing...lol And while I'm clarifying things: Invisible Deadlocked was rated after incessantly begging Rob to rate all of the invisible levels (not to encourage that behavior here; I was just 14 and irritating), when he compromised by letting me choose one to get rated. I did also in fact ask for Dont Rate This Level to be rated; Rob was in my stream chat shortly after its release and I showed the level to him and proposed the idea of rating it (I would've been fine either way with that one, of course) |
