Hello, i used the pirated geometry dash version for a long time, everything worked fine, even the connection to the original server.
Until today, somewhat is wrong now and i don't know what, i use geometry dash 2.1.
Since the pirated version is same, as original, i think, so, can someone help me?

Yes, i could help you. i just have one thing to say: BUY THE ACTUAL GAME! It doesn't cost that much, especially if you wait for a sale...
Btw devs aren't too happy when their players use pirated versions of their games tbh....

It just won't open. That's the problem, it opened fine until today.
If nothing would help, i'll just uninstall this one and downlowad the new version, through i'll lose almost all my data.

could you maybe translate that into English? The geometrydash.exe has stopped working. (Some bullshit) this could possibly be an issue of the Local game files. I know how to delete them but I can’t show you right now. I’ll tag you in this thread when I get home for deleting the local files. |

seriously just buy the game, its only $5 i guess this is a problem because you need to save your data right? well if your gonna delete the game, heres how you back up your data. 1. do windows+r and type %appdata% 2. you be sent to appdata\roaming, go to the top bar and go to the root of the appdata folder 3. go to appdata\local and scroll down until you see geometry dash 4. at the bottom of the folder is 4 files, CCGameManager.dat (for your data), CCLocalLevels.dat (for your levels) and backups of them with the .dat.bak extension 5. copy them and put them anywhere for safekeeping 6. download gd again (or just buy the damn game  ) 7. launch the game again so you can get the folder back 8. paste the files back into the folder 9. profit (actually im pretty sure the folder in your appdata\local folder doesnt get deleted when you uninstall the game, if it doesnt just disregard what i just said, but back them up just in case) |
