Lol there's enough staff here already, this is a pretty small forum anyway. Plus only a few staff here actually lock inappropriate threads/give warnings and stuff. Nobody except admins can instantly decide things, saying that "a few staff" are doing their job is wrong, any global mod/normal mod cannot do things by themselves like locking threads without given reason or just because they think its stupid, irrelevant or just meaningless, they have to have at least darnoc's/roozor's/sterdest/old cookie's approval. *stares megaman9* *stares Zobros* |

By the way, do I REALLY need an admin's approval before I lock a thread or something? I've been in a lot of forums, and mods NEVER have to get an admin's okay before simply locking a thread. If I have to then I will, but I didn't know ;-;

Btw, can i make a forum background for da forum? I could update the current banner too cuz ppl complained about the dimension of the icons, and make it look more professional, but like the current style.

Honestly I don't think we need any more staff. In fact in my opinion we should get rid of some staff :S Even though these are very active and participating members we already have a very reliable and responsible Moderation team who take care of most inappropriate things. Some of the staff however aren't active in making many decisions or in moderating the forums activity and so should lose their powers because there is no point in them having any in the first place :/ Even I visit the forum often and check to see how things are going But most of the time there is no need for my input into taking care of things because our active staff do such a good job in taking care of things  So basically, its a no from me for now. (not ruling out the possibility at some point in the future however any members with any history of being reported and warned shouldn't be given the responsibility of being staff IMO which at least one of the people you've listed has) |
