Oof. Here we are at last, never thought this would happen initially, but seen as you recently announced it in the staff chat, it was only a matter of time until a thread was officially made. I'm not sure what to say. In my 2 Years on the forums here, I think you're one of the persons I've found out most about, if only because you were Administrator/Co-Owner for a long time. I remember my first steps here onto the forums, as it started with me trying to become a level judge, and I seem to remember you were quite involved in getting and leading a good team for it back then. As it happened, I rose through the ranks till Moderator somewhat quickly, thus finding out a lot more about your attitude in the staff chat. I did really like how calm and composed you always seemed to be, it definitely made an impression on me back then. I was really happy with you and Ryan and all the other staff, moderating the forums for a long time.
Recently, I've gotten to know you from a different side. As it happened, I had coincidentally heard of MaGMML2 and decided to check it out, as around that time, I had finished the 11 Classic games and was looking for something different. I had no idea you actually were a judge until I opened the game and saw, but from that point on, it seemed a lot more obvious to me that lots of your attitude was facade, given your enthusiasm about other things in both the game itself and its discord, and even some nasty comments about the GD Community. What I mean to say is, despite the fact you started to dislike GD more and more over time, you kept everything up and led us well here. It was a good time under your lead, and I wish you the best of luck for the future.

Additionally, I would like to congratulate Dragon48100, WillFlame and Lockstep on their promotions! All of you guys really deserved your current rank, Lock with his unstoppable activity, Dragon with his neverending constructivity and WillFlame, who has been an excellent admin in all points possible.

You know.. this thread reminds me of when my brother stopped allowing me to use his laptop, I have the family pc and gd runs well there too, but the input lag is not the same so I am not as good, anyway when my brother did that my interest in the game just stopped and I had many other things that interested me more than the game, I unsubbed from many gd youtubers, I left a lot of discord servers, basically what you are doing right now, from that point I just never played gd like I used to anymore, I kept making threads here and there that I am back playing the game, but what really happenes is that it becomes an on and off thing because at first you think it's fun but a day later, two days later, and so on.. you basically just came back at the state that you were in before so you stop playing, like how I mentioned that I wanted to beat TUP instead of BB because I wanted to have fun again, but does it matter? Will you get satisfied like you used to back in the day? Nah, it feels like I am forcing myself at this point so why bother?

It just stopped for me, I no longer think it's fun and interesting to me anymore, I don't think I have ever launched gd after the first days of 2018, that's just how it goes, when you finally realize that it never comes back truly like it was before you just come to a full stop.

When you play the game you always think that the old days might comeback and we will actually have so much fun again and because you haven't played it in so long that enthusiasm kicks in so you go and tell your friends that you are back, but that's just your mind playing games, I'm sure WillFlame saw a lot of these coming back threads I made so he knows what I am talking about..

We never know what the future might reveal, but what I am speculating for myself is that when gd 2.2 comes out, I'll comeback to the game for a month or too, and then that's it, like seriously I might never play the game ever again.. just speculating though, maybe I'll actually enjoy the game again at some point in my life.. who knows.. so yeah that was my experiences after the game no longer became an interst basically.

I didn't know you very well, and you never associated with me, but back in the day you were one of the most influential voices here and even in the community. You were one of the first channels I subbed to, and one of the first people I saw when I joined the forums. Since then, you've proved time and time again just how much you can make a difference. You made your mark, and I hope whatever comes your way in the future will be something you can look forward to.
