when robtop doesn't want to keep cutting the audio for main levels so he just makes it an ingame feature
fr tho this is actually pretty dope because there are always those parts in a song no one wants to use while creating but they have to get through them to get to the parts they like. so i now have a legit reason to be hyped again for 2.2

Again, people think this will only be used for bad purposes and yes - it can be used (for that; as with every fucking feature there currently is, although good levels are still being made (right now...)). But, obviously, good levels will do something good with this, as the feature is really neat and I, personally, wanted something like this since veeery long ago :*^
Tbh I always wanted to have the likes of the features of 2.2, so I'm reallly glad they finally get added; this update's gonna be good as fuck.

Honestly Id rather he release 2.2 and push the song trigger to a quick 2.21 release a few weeks later It's not like this took a long time to implement though. IIRC/AFAIK, it took him a few days or smh. Could be totally wrong and I don't remember where I heard that, though. |

The one problem I think this might have, is lag, and so the song getting out-of-sync. I don't know if it's possible to save a unique song for each level you play, if it is, he should implement that

jokes aside this could be used for some great parts of levels,especially those with longer songs and they want to skip dull parts of songs. although some of the shitpost levels you can get from this using songs with lyrics is gonna be hilarious. but i think this feature would be even greater if you could switch songs midway through and get a sorta mashup going. however the songs would all have to be downloaded for this to work, not sure how the menu where you download the song would handle that =/
oh! and moved to gd news too, since yknow. it's news, about gd.
