You miscounted by a long shot in your level calculation. A VERY long shot. It wouldn't be 38^20, it would be... f(n) = 38^n + f(n-1) with exception: f(0) = 0 now solve for f(20) Have fun finding a computer powerful enough to calculate that without blowing up! P.S. The thing above is defined in a recursive function. Here is a regular algebraic expression to replace it: 38^20+38^19+38^18+38^17+38^16+38^15+38^14+38^13+38^12+38^11+38^10+38^9+38^8+38^7+38^6+38^5+38^4+38^3+38^2+38^1 = number that is too big P.S. orba could you tell me what arbitrary precision lib you used to come up with these numbers? I see, I only calculated 20-letter level names, thanks. Here is the result btw (wolframalpha)

There are 64 cubes, 25 ships, 18 balls, 18 UFOs, 13 waves, 6 robots, 4 trails.
Thus, 161 740 800 possible icons.
We have to add for colors and the glow.
But, considering these two cases: (i) P1 = Black (ii) P1 = Not Black
First, we see that case (i) always has glow, and it's glow it's same as P2 (if P2 is black, then glow is white).
Therefore, we have 28 color combinations for case (i).
For case (ii), You have 27 colors for P1, 28 for P2.
Therefore, 756 color combinations.
Since the player has the freedom to choose glow, there are 1512.
Multiply them, we get exactly 249 080 832 000 combinations for a player.

It is not like we can combine them

Dood, you are confused as hell. First of all, orbacal is right, you don't have to recount every permutation for other string limits. Second of all, that function is easy to compute, even a smartphone can do it, without overflowing. Third of all, arbitrary precision is used for floating point numbers, such as calculating 4 billion digits of PI. A computer can calculate big numbers just by consider a value as a string, for example. Python can do all of this in microseconds; here's the result: >>> sum(38**i for i in range(1,21)) 40481239792225648784462962746450 Took me 0.000004193936707103276 seconds.

Challenge: calculate all possible level combinations (as in blocks in levels) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) (use scientific notation of needed) I'll try to calculate later... But I'm pretty sure it is NOT infinite ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) It isn't infinite. I will try to count that soon. Recently I got interested in maximum possible image count. For example, how many images there are for 1920x1080x32 resolution. This number is lunaticly high, as it is 4 294 967 296^(1920*1080), but it will include ALL possible images and photos and stuff like Robtop eating a potato, me with ur mum next to Godzilla, geometry dash 2.2 and stuff (all r34 and children pron stuff too so you might be arrested lolz) It is more efficient tho to use 256 color grayscale pallete and 800x600 res.

Here are the information I got: The height of a level is 66 blocks. The length of a level is exactly 3000 blocks. (try to measure it yourself, its true.) Therefore, the grid is 198000 blocks big. There are 1100 unique objects in-game, The max number of objects is 30000. But don't forget you can scale and rotate them... There are 151 different scale values, and approximately 500 rotation values. How about those BG changer and Move triggers? How about the settings when you start the level? And a lot more.... Who knows, it might even be the next biggest number, even bigger than Rayo's number! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) /notice me carbonara <3
