I have two questions. 1. Is NONG an official term? This doesn't really matter too much but I'm curious. 2. It's a layout contest. When it's sent to a famous creator, are they going to do something with it? They can't send to Rob because...layout. Not sure if I'll enter. KatsuTG |

Allo, allo. It is the other lesser known person who uses this account who you might have heard of, Nekozero. First I'd like to say that due to circumstance, Katz's ability to message in this thread is gone because of Internet problems. The CC has been extended to Nov. 12, so anyone who has given up, you still have a little time. I apparently will be doing some judging as well since Katz cannot. (This means I forfeit the CC btw.)
Second, I'll answer commonly asked questions seen here. NONGS are levels or layouts not using newgrounds music. I.e. Eff, Delta Interface. Anyone making a nong MUST make a video with the level. ANY methods of making the video are fine, speedhacking, noclipping, etc. Submit all videos if you make one here. The layout has to be new. Not one started previously, before the CC'S announcement.
As for the prize, idfk it seemed weird to me too lol. He did say if you are an average creator and want to decorate a second place layout, he can take applicants. (Which means me because he can't as of now. ;-; ) And someone did mention that the first place prize has a 50-50 chance of even working, but to my knowledge, he knows quite a bit of featured creators.
And no this isn't dead. -.-
Collaboration layouts are fine too.
Lastly, due to lacking resources, a CC video editor may be needed to make a results video. Heh. Heh....

I'm good at making demon layouts, only problem is, I don't WANT to make a video of it.
I guess I'll have to stick to Harder 7 star difficulty...

Well, I guess I did my best for this. I really like NONG layouts so of course I did one of those, I haven't uploaded it to my account yet but here's the video for it. Hope I'm not too late. (note: i have not put spikes in the ship and ufo parts because i can never place spikes well and when i tried it was really annoying so im gonna have someone help me with that)
