Per hour, and if you want a number, than maybe 3 threads, possibly 4 if we're stretching it. This is a good way to stop clutter and useless threads from trolls, it's easier for the staff team and it reduces spam.

Well, maybe. But 3-4 threads is just too few, I'd say around 10 threads.

This seems unnecessary and silly. If someone is making alot of useless threads then simply put it. Warn them. If someone actually has a reason to post that much then let them, if its useless and not in the correct place then its just a matter of the mods warning the person and deleting/locking the thread. Ive said many times before that I know little about how ProBoards is run, but I would assume that having a counter countdown possibly hundreds of users at the same time. Keeping track of how much they have posted and since when, would make the site very slow and unreliable.

Like what I said earlier, locking a smaller amount of threads is easier than locking 10 threads and warning people for said threads. If this gets implemented, I suggest it happens in all places except the Nonsense Lounge, since things like spam and clutter are actually allowed there. And we're talking about threads, not posts.

Let's say that someone found new GD Community News, discovered a bug, thought of a game suggestion, beat an extreme demon, and published a level. I know its really unlikely to happen in 1 hour, but its still possible.
Even though, I'd just keep the limit to around 10 threads to be sure. Anything more than that, then its automatically considered as spam now.

Like, someone wants to post something like his new level, a game suggestion, an Insane Demon completion, and GD community news?

I'm okay with that. If some people got angry, you could change it to 3/30 minutes or something..

This seems unnecessary and silly. If someone is making alot of useless threads then simply put it. Warn them. If someone is spamming threads like the Baba bots and 5 pages of threads are there, just "warning them" isn't going to do much, this is to just stop people from unnecessarily clogging up boards with useless threads so staff doesn't have to waste time warning/banning someone and then deleting their threads

How I think the warning system works is that you gain a % and when you hit 100% you are banned. If you spam post useless threads you should be warned for each spam thread. So if you automaccaly go over 100% you are auto banned. People that have something to post about should not be punsihed for the reason to stop people spamming. If this was to be added then say make it 15 posts in an hour not 4. Then it will only stop bots or real spammers and has very little chance of messing up someones day by forcing them to wait to post something theywant to post.
