Hello, I just think this game is dying. We have been waiting almost 10 months for 2.0. I know RobTop is fixing bugs for an almost perfect update, but he has took too many time. Also the community is fightning and someones taking the game to serious. I have waited more in updates of other games but they have done a mini update (Terraria 1.2-Terraria 1.2.4.1-Terraria 1.3), because they let know the people that they are still there working hard. In RobTop's case, he has only posted "The update will be available soon" only and a update with bug fixes. We know he's still there because he still features levels, but other people doesn't know he has to do that manually (example: Facebook people, most of them is cursing RobTop, but now they have left). If this update doesn't came out this month or half of the other month, maybe a lot of people will stop playing the game and it will die eventually. Keep in mind that Terraria is a big team of developers, while RobTop makes Geometry Dash all by himself. I'm pretty sure he doesn't want help either. And I think once 2.0 is out, everyone will be satisfied and surprised on how many new features RobTop added :3 Now I think, when Terraria was between 1.0 and 1.1 they were only 2 people (Red and Cenx) and they lasted almost a year, but also they gave mini updates to the game. Well, still, if RobTop Games was a 2-man team it would in theory come twice as fast. 1.9 took 3 months (I think lol) and with 2 people it would hypothetically come in only one and a half month. But anyways, RobTop might have other things to do as well you know. I think it's better if we all just appreciate that RobTop even made this game and that he's still working hard on every update. 2.0 will most likely and hopefuly be a VERY good update.. |

I don't think the game is dying, but people are creating less in anticipation of 2.0, as half-finished 1.9 levels will be kind of worthless when the update comes out. |

I don't think you realize that RobTop has a life too Its as simple as this. An I can say from own experience that coding, searching bugs and fixing them can be very, very, very boring |

VexedSteak funny joke, haha. Even in the years (nearly 8) since this thread was actually relevant, the topic has been done to death and there's no need to continue it further, at least not for the time being. I know the wait is long but hopefully the gap between 2.1 and 2.2 is finally about to close. Locking for necropost.
