Hey everybody, Deltablu here.
Today, I have some amazing news for you, which will be broadcasted right after some background information for those of you who are less informed on the topics we are going to discuss today.
Background Information
Sonic Wave:
This extreme demon has a lot of significant historical value in Geometry Dash. Think back before 2.0 was released (August 2015). The two biggest rivals back then were two extremely good players (that's how they were perceived back then):
Riot:
Riot was and still is a very skilled Geometry Dash player. He used to hold a spot on the global leaderboard before his long period of inactivity.
Riots Channel:

Riot's most notable achievements are his verification of Bloodbath, the demon which held the #1 spot on the Top 50 Hardest Demons list for the longest period of time (a bit longer than 1 year), and the idea of the level Sonic Wave Infinity (which is unfortunately dead now).
Cyclic:
Cyclic was known to be a very skilled player in pre-2.0, and during a short period of time during 2.0 before he admitted to hacking all of his major levels. Think back to pre-2.0. Cyclic was the first person to prove that he legitimatly beat Cataclysm by Gboy, a fate which no one had accomplished back then (now someone beats it every other 2 days).

Anyways, let's get back on track. The summer before the release of update 2.0 was action-packed in the community. As mentioned before, Cyclic and Riot were huge rivals. So you can imagine what cyclic felt like when it was announced that Riot was to verify Bloodbath, a level that was considered phenomenally harder than the current hardest demon (Cataclysm by Gboy). He realized that if Riot verified this level, he would rise above him as a better player, so he decided to become a true adversary.
Cyclic built his own extreme demon, one that would surpass Cataclysm by miles, and potentially outdo Bloodbath. This level was given the name "Sonic Wave".
Sonic Wave was essentially an extreme Nine Circles-Style demon (this used to be a major trend) which outdid the rest of the Nine Circles levels by a mile.
Some 1.9 Nine Circle-Style Levelks
This is a video of the original Sonic Wave (credit to Metalface221):
As you can see, the middle ship and UFO part is a bit erratic when put into the level, considering its awkward gameplay and placement.
Many people made this argument, and Cyclic took notice. He then buffed it and updated it to this level (credit to Sunix)
As you can see, the erratic parts have been replaced with more extreme wave gameplay. Overall, it seems like Cyclic took the opportunity to buff the entire level and turn the theme into a dark blue color (as opposed to the light blue theme before).
Not long after the release of this level, Cyclic quit Geometry Dash, replacing Sonic Wave with a very weird level that was essentially a trollish remake of Back on Track.
After that, some tried their hand at the level, which led to the rise of two levels:
Sonic Wave Infinity by Riot and Viprin
Sonic Wave Rebirth (the harder one) by Mefewe, Serponge, and Funnygame
Cyclic then returned at the beginning of 2016, and seemingly verified and uploaded two levels: The Hell Zone (an insane collaboration between Cyclic, Ryan LC, Koreaqwer, and 1234) and the dark blue version of Sonic Wave.
People then noticed some strange things about Cyclic's verification video of The Hell Zone (credit to @cypher )
Cyclic then admitted to cutting footage of The Hell Zone and faking its verification. He also then let out another big surprise, he cut his verification footage of the light blue Sonic Wave, and speed-hacked the dark blue version.
After a significant amount of conflict, controversy, and fails, a player by the name of Sunix verified the dark blue Sonic Wave.
That's enough background information, onto the main news!
On 12/23/2016, a new victor of Sonic Wave emerged.
First was Sunix, then Superex, and now...
BlassCFB has beaten Sonic Wave!
Yes he has. This once infeasible experience has been toppled three times now by three extremely skilled players.
This is by far BlassCFB's hardest demon, which is astonishing considering all of his completed records on the Top 50 Hardest Demons List
BlassCFB's 100% Records:
As a matter of fact, BlassCFB has only one level left to complete in the top 10: Artificial Ascent by Viprin.
We hope to see much more success and achievement from BlassCFB in the future!
I hope you enjoyed this news cast!
