Hell no, he better make sure that all platforms get it at the same time. Apple review nowadays is 1-3 days, if you can wait a year you can wait a couple days extra.

Sadly I can only play on iOS because I dont own a PC, yet even then I vote yes. We have waited more than a year for this update and at this point I dont care about being able to play Fingerbang* or using the new Spider, I just wanna see the level and know what really is in this update and if it was worth the year plus wait. (It better be)
I can confidently say there is a 99% chance that Rob will not release it early, he dosent want people uploading 2.1 levels and having the N/A on every single level for the people on iOS, basically torturing the people that dont have the same midset as me and just want to play it, not see it. So just because of that Im sure Rob wont release it early, even if it took Apple 2 months to release it.

Yea sure, back when 2.0 is submitted to Apple, I'm patient enough to wait for the update to be verified while I watch the major players play Geometrical Dominator and Deadlocked on Steam, but now, I won't have any worries since I just bought GD on Steam.

No, that's just unfair to iOS users. And some of the things people, even famous players, were saying on TouchArcade before 2.0 was released were just absurd.
"It's not our fault Apple users chose to use bad phones"
"We paid more for Steam, we deserve the update earlier"
Really?
Not to mention all the people literally spamming Apple to release 2.0.

The majority of GD players are mobile, and the majority of phone users are Apple. So you want to make all those people wait to get the new content just so you can get it earlier? It's completely selfish and unfair to them. They can't control what there company does. And besides, as people already said, the verification process has been cut down a lot, so chances are it will only take a couple extra days too a week. It's only fair that it's released all at the same time.
