DISCLAIMER: Some days ago I asked in the forum section "Forum Support" if what I was gonna write it would be fine. Due to no contrast in the idea received by admins or moderators, I am gonna post this here. If any administrator finds this post against the rules, please argue about it before locking the thread or banning me.
This project was an idea of Stheh4x0r, who decided to port SoundCloud to the game client, so that creators can have a larger variety of songs.
This idea relies on the fact that we can (With a client patcher or apk modification in case of Android) redirect some of the internet traffic made by the client to our server, which will then handle the song system already implemented by the game; so this doesn't mean that we encourage a shift from a "original" version of the game to a modded one, but rather convince the community (and possibly robtop) that SoundCloud for GD can be an actual thing, without any copyright issues.
In fact, our servers decides which songs to include automatically: if the song holds any copyright, it won't let the player use it.
So, here's 2 videos, one by me and one by StheH4x0r about our project. You can find the downloads of the patcher + android apk in the description of both.
