To sign up, message me via PM! You will not be accepted otherwise, no matter how good your application is!
On the forum Discord, we had an idea: what about a forum creator tournament? So here goes
Format:
There will be 32 contestants, in 8 groups of 4. These groups will all do a short speedbuild of around a day (for each time zone) to a randomly-chosen song for each group. The best two speedbuilds will be judged unanimously (the judges will not know who made each part), and will enter the next round: the knockout phase.
The knockout stages will be head-to-head competitions between different builders. The judged winner will enter the next round, until we eventually get to the final.
In the knockouts, different rounds will have different difficulty levels for the built level. Here is what they will be so you can practise building those difficulties:
ROUND OF 16: You will be making an easy level.
QUARTER FINALS: You will be making a hard level.
SEMI FINALS: You will be making a harder level.
FINAL: You will be able to choose the difficulty.
Judging:
Anyone will be able to sign up to be a judge, but Level Judges will get higher priority to ensure a higher quality level of judging. That's not to say that non-judges can apply, you still have a good chance
Judges will not know whose level they are judging, to stop biases and give a much more level playing field.
Sign-ups:
If you want to sign up to participate, you may want to consider your creating skills. There will probably be some very skilled builders in this, so if you aren't very confident, you should probably pass this. To sign up, simply message me via forums and attach a video of your best work. If not, some images would be fine as well. The judges will rate these and order them so we can seed the competitors and give a level playing field (we will not tell anyone the results of this :/ )
What's in it for me?
Finding it hard to get your levels featured? Well, here's the list of prizes you can win!
1st place: Final level and one of your levels sent to Robtop for feature and your chosen difficulty by Megaman9
2nd place: Final level and one of your levels sent to Robtop for stars and your chosen difficulty by Megaman9
3rd place: One of your levels sent for stars by Megaman9
Semi-finalist: Level played in video at the end of the competition
Best in competition: Level played in video at the end of the competition
When is this happening?
It will happen after Andro3d's tournament is over. In short: soon! Sorry about no date ;3;
I hope you choose to enter, and have a great day!
