Rexone #2250 What's with the colored bars before each part? The colored parts are the marks for where one part stops, and one part ends. They are green - red, red - green, green - red and so forth. depending on which part you have you can use up to your color (so green or red) on both sides. This is so there wont be overlapping builds or gaps but now I think of it I might want to make it a little more clear :3 rip im west coast US ill be sleeping for most of this event ;3; Sorry :c |

Is there going to be a mark on a certain part of the y-axis where the last part should stop and the first part will start, will we use portals, or will we just be forced to stop/start the parts on the ground? - Do we get to use any colors we want? If so, won't that ruin the flow as well? |

If so, won't that ruin the flow as well? You can start on whatever hight you want, and end at whatever hight you want. When I copy all the parts into one level, I can easily move certain parts up and down to line them up. You dont have to use teleportals (or if you want you can do that of course), but make sure to determine all gamemodes, speedchanges and other things (like duals, mini, gravity) at the start of your level. (for instance, maybe you have your part designed for normal gravity, but if the player before you ends with an upside down part, it would mess things up so make sure to put all portals even when it is default. For the second question, yes, you can use any color you want, if everyone sticks to the theme I dont think it would be too much off a mess but you are right that there will probably be a bit of difference you can notice in people's designs. Not the worst thing though, especially for a level created in two hours ᕳ•◡•ᕲ (I hope xD) EDIT: On a side not, 5 spots left and then we are on to backup participants! |
