Wait.. Does follow triggers works exactly like lock X No. It follows the player at a specified speed, moving smoothly rather than locking to the players position. If the player moves fast enough the the object which is following it might not be able to keep up |

This update should honestly be renamed to update 3.0... so many new things Maybe renamed to 2.2 but not 3.0. 3.0 would be absolutely gigantic because 1.9-2.0, while being a whole new version number, still only jumped by one update number 1.9->2.0 isn't one update number... It's Version.Update.Patch.Hotfix EDIT: whoops didn't see your entire post... |

Instead of making 2.1 a huge update, rob should have added these stuff in like 3 different updates. This is probably going to be the same thing that happened last year; Rob says he is "bugfixing" in June and that it should be out before July, but in reality the update is done early August.

Just so people know, the only 'new' thngs coming to 2.1from this are the new colour and trails, the new trigger and new layers. And it's likely robtop added it awhile ago, hes just revealing it now after making sure they work right in the game. He's still not adding anything else till 2.2.

Someone, I dare you from all of my heart, if you see RobTop on a stream or something, tell him to stop adding new stuff and just finish the update ;-; Once you said you are bugfixing, but adding new stuff makes more bugs to fix, right? So please stop trolling us and fix the update and send it I DARE YOU!!! Even a very patient person like me can get mad! Or, we can let rob make his game how he wants to. Obviously rob knows we want the update. He's not blind. Whining does nothing but make the GD community look worse than it already is IMO if actually knows we want the update he wouldn't say he is bugfixing and done with adding stuff which caused the community to go happy, but now he is adding more stuff! That is actually egoistic isn't it? The thing is he actually is bug fixing bug fixing takes a lot of time and effort and can be very monotonous for a game developer to do. I think remaining patient is the best option. Rob knows we want the update. |

Rob's mistake is he sometimes doesn't take other people's opinions that can make his game better! I bet it would be better for you if he released it faster without adding new stuff anymore, right? The update will be polished so there won't be any complains.
