I don't agree with rule 1. I love almost any kind of memorization. Don't fool people and tell them they can't make memorization based levels just because part of the players don't like it. Take Blood Menace for example, or Breakthrough. Both have lots of memorization and they are super fun to play.
I agree with rule 2 and 3 but they are obvious and most of the people don't need a guide to realise that.

You forgot:
Syncing: Syncing with the music makes the player know, when to tap, and also feel the satisfaction of a perfectly synced level. Music sync is actually important to gameplay, since many people actually judge good gameplay levels based on the music sync.
Fast pased: Triple speed or Double speed at drops makes for a really fun level. Slow paced at drops is 1. Really boring to play and 2. Unsatisfying.
Fast paced- and synced gameplay also make for a good level

As I said, the memo rule doesn't apply as much to demons, but, having TOO much memorization, like in manray, will make the majority of players dislike your level. I know some people like memo, but most people don't.
