I don't expect Robtop to read support emails, but I'm gonna try to get this to Robtop. Basically it's saying he should stop making updates his main focus and fix the game, if you wanna read the whole thing, look below
Hey RobTopGames,
Any thoughts? Concerns? I'd also appreciate any help I can get getting this message to Robtop. I think we can all agree Robtop has some fixing to do. RobTopGames
Hey RobTopGames,
I'm sending this with no intention of it being read all the way through, and I don't expect you to take advice from one of your players, but I'd love to provide insight on the current maintenance of the game's features and how it could be better executed for the enjoyment of its players.
My number one point is that keeping the game running correctly, whether it be servers, or featuring and starring levels, or the latest hack protection, should ALWAYS come before updating the game. This is essential to keeping the players happy and it may take them time to realize that updates aren't always the best part of a game. Most will take for granted the fact that servers are well maintained and levels are featured and routinely after doing so, but it will definitely have an impact on the mood of players.
My second point is that you cannot moderate or automate everything alone. This is also a tough step for most developers when their game gets too big with too many things to keep track of. Finding the perfect people to help maintain these aspects of your game will improve the balance of the game.(Banning Hackers, Maintaining the well being and security of the servers, Featuring and Starring levels)
My third and final point is that consistency is key. Maybe by having a specific time when you feature or star a certain amount of levels or just clear the list day by day, or by having a better report system in which you can find hackers very easily and shut them down, these can make the players enjoy the game and respect you as the overseer of the game.
If you do happen to skim over this message, please read the entire thing in detail and reflect on what I've said. Maybe even try it for a week or so and maybe see if there is an improvement (would be cool if you could let us know if it does happen) that would really make lots of us happy
Cheers, ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
