Maybe this is what 4x speed does: it adds a fireball effect around the cube because it is going so fast. very unnecessary and annoying, i doubt it would be like that *Line effects for gravity portals *The f*cking LIGHTNING FLASH for mini portals Wouldn't be the first time he's done summat stupid although I admit those are outdated (but could be changed) |

So it would look like this but with a fireball around the cube instead: imgur.com/VI7xBXCSomeone please edit the photo above so that the part of the trigger with the cube with the trail is replaced with a graphic of the cube in a fireball. |

I doubt it's a trail. Most likely a particle effect.

guys guys guys it's just the cube inside the fireball which either means - you have to put a spike or solid object in the fireball - the fireballs can be toggled to kill you or not the first one seems way more likely. in the 2.1 fireballs video, the fireballs being fired by the monsters have that same particle effect. i'm with 6359_ here. why don't we now argue over the new 2.1 info rob's just (apparently) released? according to rob to control spider we "tap and things happen". and the sneak peek is coming... you guessed it...
