It's an old thread but I have to mention that I had no idea that decoding QR codes requires knowledge of reading binary. Your explanation is really helpful and easy to follow, even for someone like me who is new to this.
Speaking of reading text from images, have you heard of Smart Engines OCR SDK? It's a software development kit that allows you to extract text from images using OCR technology, just like reading binary from QR codes. It is really easy to use and can recognize text in multiple languages and scripts. Plus, it's highly accurate and can recognize even complex layouts and fonts.

It is kinda cool but given the age of the thread, P1kachu's inactivity, and that the guide is basically useless (none of the images work), there isn't really much of a point to keeping this old thread alive. I also don't want to start a chain of bots advertising anywhere (which is against forum rules) either, so I'm going to lock the thread for now.
