First of all, hello everyone. It's been 6 years since I last entered this forum, very glad to see it's still active.
I recently came back for 2.2 and wanted to start doing videos again of my demon completions. I used to play on an iPod Touch 5 which had Everyplay built-in so I never had to worry about recording gameplay, but currently I have an android phone and obviously there's no everyplay. So what recorder, that doesn't lag the game, do you guys recommend?
I've tried a bunch of recorders from the play store, and even the phone's built-in recorder, and all of them end up lagging the game. Even if it's minimal lag, it's very annoying when playing demons that require precision. I don't care about the fps or quality of the output, my only objective with the videos is to have evidence I completed the levels. I've seen a lot of mobile players beating really hard demons, so I'm sure there has to be a good recording method on android I'm not finding.

Wb, I think I remember Bagley mentioned some time ago there was a way to exploit everyplay recording even though the service is gone. I don't remember exactly how to do it, but you would just need an external recording app to record the everyplay recording.

In that case i'm interested

In that case i'm interested I'd assume so, although everyplay isn't just iOS. I was able to use Everyplay to record and upload videos to YouTube back when I played. It only worked on like two of the devices I played GD on (does not work on my current phone), and it was inconsistent, but I've only ever played GD on Android devices.

I remember it involving Airplane mode, but without the specifics, I'm unfortunately not much help. I think the gist is you trick the game into recording with everyplay, and when you get the replay you want, you watch it and record it with another recording tool to save it to your device.

So I just opened the game, and I think the in game option to record replays was removed with 2.2 as i can no longer find it. I don't know if the game still records if you had the option checked prior to 2.2, but it's possible this workaround is no longer available, sorry.

That's sad, i hope someone makes a hack for android to enable everyplay
