So I clicked on Pacosky's new video and was thinking "didn't he quit because of Everyplay shutting down?" so I read the description. And holy shit.
The way to bypass the shutting down is to just turn off the WiFi on your phone. It's as easy as that. Here's a little example by me (excuse my shit performance on mobile):
I hope this will do rounds in the community because we've basically got Everyplay back. You just have to use an external screen recording software such as the built-in iOS screen recorder or any Android ones. This negates some of the common problems such as lag because you aren't directly recording with the external recording software.

nexThis is amazing! Of course, it won't completely revive the mobile community as most won't hear this news, but for those who are active in the community this is fantastic news

And a quick, important note for non-Apple users or those who don’t have mobile/tablet screen recording:
Once you play the level, get a record, and view your video on Everyplay (via Pacosky’s trick), you can simply get another phone/camera and record your progress. All problems solved!

It was already basically confirmed that only the website was shutting down a while ago but I am glad mobile users know how to still use it.

well fuck, should’ve waited it seems
then again I probably would’ve quit after 8o so no regrets, but I’m glad this is back, hopefully it gets more attention so the community can get revived

I don't know why I'm not surprised by this. Maybe it's because there are so many broken things in this game at this point, from the useless creator help menu, to chests not functioning properly, to random data resets, to the seemingly easily breakable servers, to the hasn't-been-touched-in-so-long-it's-growing-cobwebs leaderboard, but I'm satisfied that at least one of these glitches turned out in our favor; well, for the time being, at least.

This is great news, however I still do hope that RobTop manages to find a new recording software and he should add it for all versions of GD.

This is actually an amazing find. I found that the built in iOS screen recorder made levels lag a lot more whereas Everplay didn’t. Hopefully Robtop doesn’t patch this out by removing the record option or something stupid like that.
