so i've been repeatedly trying to save my account to the servers and for the past 15 times ive attempted doing so its just returned "backup failed"
i legitimately have no clue what to do here, ive been trying to remove levels from my creator list, remove songs from the AppData folders and now i am essentially out of options. i need to save soon, i cant just leave it like this for now all the time so having this fixed would do the world for me

If you have a lot of custom objects, I recommend removing some of them. It sounds weird but it worked for someone else.
I’m assuming you already tried refreshing login but try that again.

well, looks like I’m not the only one with this problem Stormfly by any chance are you unable to access leaderboards and profiles as well? I have a feeling both problems may be related. regarding your problem I’m pretty sure it’s the servers being shit as usual, most likely Rob will fix it by the weekend. edit: switched my mobile carrier and everything worked perfectly, idk if that’ll work for you, but it seems that my problem was just GD being blocked for some reason on my data carrier. maybe the telco that provides your wifi has gd blocked? that’s the best I can think of.

I couldn't save either, after deleting ~80 copies of levels and created levels I could. Maybe try that?

i got 51 levels now in my levels section and i quite literally cannot remove any more until i release levels

Possibly removing saved levels may help? They take up a small amount of data, but it adds up and may make it difficult to save.
Another potential option is that you possibly got banned in the stupid leaderboard thing and it's not letting you save.

quick question: when you try to save does it take forever before showing "backup failed" or does it go straight to "backup failed"?
if it's the former, it's probably an issue with your account having too much data in it to save quickly. if it's the latter, your network may be causing the issue so try using a VPN or switching your telco service (this worked for me when my account was experiencing the second issue)

it simply says "backup failed. please try again later." my main assumption would be the internet for which is bad a whole and the currently bitchy servers combined is not letting me do it whatsoever. i can try with a VPN at some point but for now i guess i am stumped

As a side-option, you could try making a backup of your save files. Considering the progress is saved on your computer, the save files should be up-to-date. If you can't save right now, this might be a decent alternative just in case if something would went wrong with your save data.

If you can't save right now, this might be a decent alternative just in case if something would went wrong with your save data. it is currently what i am doing. still really annoying i have to do this precautious method since the game is unreliable

so update for this, i did manage to save my account now after noticing i actually hadnt cleaned through my account properly and had about 400k objects hung out to dry and do nothing worthwhile. many of my levels consist over 80k+ objects so missing some of these were quite essential either way, consider this fixed
