Pretty sure the forum mods already established that having rewards for postcount wasn't going to happen because postfarming.

Pretty sure the forum mods already established that having rewards for postcount wasn't going to happen because postfarming. But on the other hand, people can get a custom title for 500 posts. I wouldn't really call a custom title an "award", but more of a privilege. Anyways, I personally don't think post count is that important. I feel like it's just a number. The main problem is if you give people rewards for post count, they will be more likely to spam instead of contribute to discussion.

There won't be any more awards for postcount (apart from the custom title, which is restricted to people with 500 or more posts), because they would cause more postfarming and low-effort posts in general. I wish were a better way to reward people for contributing to discussion, but that doesn't seem to be possible.
