As you know, since 2.0 people have already making a lot of Animation in GD. But, I started to thinking that maybe someday Animation in GD will be as good as Animation that created by Disney or Dreamworks.

Unless someone wants to program the color of every pixel in every frame to recreate an image, probably not.

It technically can, but making animation the level of big name studios would take more time then anyone would be willing to invest in GD, even if it was just a single frame. Not to mention it will lag most devices like crazy.
