If Bloodbath will be verified, it will probably harder than Sonic Wave.

Bloodbath is much harder than Sonic Wave, in my opinion, but not by too much. The reason for this decision is because Bloodbath has whole array of game modes to test your skills under stressful environments ( for example, the first ball part, Evasium's wave section, Crack's ship part) while Sonic Wave mainly relies on the wave game mode ( which is at a scale similar to that of Bloodbath) and some stray cube parts here and there to deliver its difficulty. I'm not saying Bloodbath is a lot harder than Sonic Wave, but it's still somewhat harder, in my opinion.  |

Bearing in mind that the first HALF of bloodbath looks harder than the whole of sonic wave, I think blood bath may be harder. A LOT HARDER Your whole statement is wrong. "first half looks harder" Really? Looks don't count. And second, you honestly think that the first half of bloodbath is harder than the entire sonic wave? Facepalm. Honestly, Bloodbath will be barely harder than sonic wave. Sonic Wave = Sakupen Hell but not impossible. Bloodbath = Dark World. |

Actually, if you watch Riot's streams that showcase the whole level, you'll see that all the parts starting from 65% or so ( Etzer's part ) are 5 times harder than anything in Sonic Wave ( one space flying, one space waving, and insane UFO parts). Crack's part, Havock's part, and Asonicmen's part are at least 2 times harder than some of the hardest parts in Sonic Wave. Anyhow, the beginning of Bloodbath may look easy but looks can be deceiving, like you said. Vermillion's ball part before Michigun's section is one space gravity switching and caused Riot a lot of trouble. Michigun's part looks extraordinarily easy but is one of the hardest parts in the level. I'm not saying Bloodbath is harder on a scale that makes Sonic Wave looks easy, but it's much more stressful and annoying, in my opinion.  |

Giron's may be super hard flying, but still not 5x harder. |

I didn't mean everything past Michigun's part, I just meant those extremely hard sections such as GironDavid's ( one space waving and one space flying) and Crack's/Etzer's ( insane flying parts and annoying UFO parts). You're right, though, they might not be 5 times harder than Sonic Wave but Bloodbath is still harder, in my opinion. Sonic Wave may have harder wave sections but Bloodbath uses a variety of game modes/mechanics to make a more stressful level in general. |

I agree with GForce, Bloodbath tests a variety of skills while Sonic Wave relies mostly on wave precision to deliver its ridiculousness. I will say though, I don't think any decision can be made until Bloodbath comes out and we can try it for ourselves. And of course no complete verdict on the difficulty comparison of Sonic Wave and Cataclysm can be made until a veteran of CC beats or almost beats Sonic Wave.
On an unrelated note, it makes me sad that Bloodbath doesn't have any good asymmetrical dual parts in it. It would be so much cooler if it had a section like at the end of Horntail Cave :p

Sonic wave is freaking redicolus like how did elinel beat it, its timeing is so redicolus. I honestly dont think bloodbath will be harder, just try sonic wave. It took me 3x more attempts on this in practice then cataclysm

I've got to admit that both levels look extremely hard but without a doubt, once Bloodbath gets verified it will be far harder than sonic wave.

Obviously Bloodbath will be harder than Sonic Wave. Just look at verification time! Enlil beat Sonic Wave in about 2-3 days(probably more,
but you get my point) Riot is trying to beat Bloodbath for a few months now and he still has 58%.
I see that everyone has similar opinion so why are there so many votes on Sonic Wave?
And actually comparing these two is pretty weird, because they are two completely different types of levels. Sonic Wave is mostly wave and that's the only thing you have to master. Bloodbath has gamemodes changing very quickly so you have to master all of them. Therefore Bloodbath is harder overall and more stressful.

Sonic Wave may be harder to someone who haves troubles with nine circles level. And for nine circles levels you can't say it is harder cuz more attempts. Problematic took me 160 Attemps (which is much compared to others who are used to nine circles levels) and was my first nine circles level. I still beat this level in <10 minutes. There are some demons that take many attempts but are easy after some practice. I think this will also be in sonic wave. However, I highly doubt someone will complete Bloodbath within a few minutes/hours. Go Zobros complete Sonic Wave |
