transitions are good timings are good(no awkward stuff) it's not spam,e.g wave spam or having to just do straight flies all the time. the level doesn't repeat stuff over and over. how original the gameplay is.
these are the 5 things i look at when i want to judge gameplay.

You know the gameplay is good if you find it being fun, exciting, and barely any bugs. A level could still have good gameplay even if it can be frustrating.

No weird timings, smooth transitions, and maybe good music sync so that you'd wanna try it again.

if it has portals everywhere for example: this is stereo madness, it has VERY bad gameplay this is portal madness, it has VERY good gameplay see how portals can make levels better? for real now most people prefer fast gameplay with smooth transitions and original gameplay

I like levels where you use basically most of the gamemodes in a short period of time, for example:
2 seconds of ship, then 3 jumps with ufo, then a little wave spam... i think you understand.

Good gameplay is when:
- The gameplay is varied and doesn't feel very repetitive - The sync is good - The transitions aren't too abrupt or annoying - There aren't any annoying portal spams (especially invisible) - The creator doesn't abuse triggers (especially move and color which can hurt your eyes if used in a bad way) - It's overall fun to the player.
A level doesn't have to be designed very well to be fun, but if the gameplay is fun, the player will most likely play the level, even if it looks a bit empty.

If you've seen my level judging reviews, then you know that I'm a stickler for slope gameplay. It makes the level way more unique and fun.
