Every time I use a start pos it lags a lot, when i play for the first time it's okay and doesn't lag but when I die and restart it lags a lot and make me die again (The lag is similar to the one when you are playing a level without music and the music finished downloading and if you die it lags) anyone know hot to fix it?
(Idk if I explained this well)

Yeah, this is happening to me as well. I'm building an XL Demon and I did a test between a long level with nothing and a long level with a high object count. No lag with the level containing almost nothing, but my XL Demon gets start position lag the further I am from the beginning of the level. I believe this is caused by the set start position having to re-render every object before it. For me this issue started in the beginning of 2.1, we need to get this fixed.

Happening for me as well, also causes the music to go a bit out of sync, makes it really hard to practice.

I found a "fix" turn on Smooth Fix, the music doesn't go off sync and it lag less.

Maybe turn off that start pos accuracy thing? It tried turned it on and then off and it didn't work. The only "fix" is turning on Smooth fix |

The only "fix" is turning on Smooth fix it still doesnt work for me If you're having similar issues, try looking through the GD Community board for somebody with this problem who already found a fix, or create your own thread so you can talk about the issue in more detail - no need to resurrect a 6-year-old thread where it is unlikely anyone involved will respond (it's usually necroposting too, whichis against forum rules). Hope you can figure out a way to resolve this  Locking thread. |
