Not sure if this is the right place to put an issue like this but I would be hoping I could have a hand with this ongoing issue.
Before upgrading my PC, I had a Ryzen 5 2400G with integrated graphics. Not too great of a PC but could run most GD levels with LDM's. I normally bypass to 180 from 60hz and have never experienced any major issues.
About a week ago, I brought a 1660 so I could play more games and upgraded my PSU (not relevant but just incase). While I know Geometry Dash is a CPU-based game, or so people say, I expected the new GPU to maybe slightly help in the performance of the game. Upon opening the game and playing some levels, the performance was incredible - to a point now where I can play 240 and 300 fps with no issues (or so I thought). Every now and again I experience frame drops - almost cutting my FPS in half, causing the game speed to be inconsistent and making the game unplayable. At first, exiting in and out of the level would fix it but after a few days or leaving the issue it has now gotten to a point where I can't even have a solid run of a level without dropping FPS. I thought this was just a level thing but im even having these issues playing low detailed levels and even layouts. I plan to upgrade my CPU in the near future anyway, but it has madly confused me how the game now has negative performance?
In the past few days I have tried changing settings, fiddling around in the task manager and even instyalling the 4GB patch but non have seemed to help so far. Any suggestions of an explaination and fix? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

gdkyky2 moved to GD Community - that's where bugs are reported so it's more likely someone there who can help will see it. As much as I'd love to be of assistance, I can't really give any advice since I've almost never played on PC However, there are plenty of other people who have so hopefully someone knows a fix for the FPS breaking like this.

Hi I could Try to be as helpful as I can But It seems like your gpu is the issue unfortunate
these kinds of issues are quite common Not much you can do But either buy a new GPU
or contact the manufacture about your issue since Im sure they would be able to help you a lot more than I can
if your able to get in touch with support explain to them your issue and they might be able to replace it or help you fix the issue also out of date drivers can cause problems like these so make sure all your drivers are up to date.
