It’s a shitty old demon. Nobody will care, similarly to how River Styx received no attention. The people who cared about Silent Clubstep are largely gone. This can be seen by the lack of care people have for Silentium Gradas, a RATED remake. Lemme ask you this. If someone verified an updated Elite Z, would anyone care? This is a level with much greater legacy than the ones you've mentioned, plus it's definitely top 1, unlike River Styx, Elite Z, or even Silent Club and Satanic Clubstep (recently verified). Probably wont receive that much attention from the current playerbase, but the achievement itself would likely be the most significant one since the inception of this game. The legacy is it being an “impossible” demon. Just like the rest. There is literally no difference between these levels, and it being changed to a possible version just makes it more unnoticeable, since the only hype it ever had was because it was impossible.

Having a once considered impossible demon beaten legitimately is what generates the hype. And its legacy is starting the silent trend.

Actually Silent Club came first on May of 2015, while Silent Clubstep came June of 2015. And while “once considered” is technically true, it isn’t at all now, it hasn’t been beaten unnerfed, it’ll be beaten as nerfed. What makes levels like River Styx so special is that there was NO UPDATE. It was verified unnerfed.

While my point of it being a truly monumental achievement still stands, I'll admit few players would likely give it attention nowadays. Btw good luck on Necropolis man.

If they rebirth it, and someone like nSwish, Technical, or even Npesta were set to verify it, it could gain a lot of hype. Something like SilentFunk would resemble the finishing project, although since it would most likely be #1 and verified by a more popular GD player, it has a lot of potential, and it's definitely worth a shot imo.
Although I doubt Npesta would, because he said it himself in his no plan stream: "If it ever becomes possible, there's no way I'm beating it because the gameplay sucks."

While the title "SILENT CLUBSTEP VERIFIED [LEGIT]" does have some clickbait value to it, I don't feel like the verification of SC will get that much attention.
First off, I would doubt that any more than half of the current fanbase has even heard of SC, as it is a very VERY old level. The silent trend was still going strong during 1.9, but it really died with Silent Circles in 2.0, which is when GD was really taking off in popularity. With the majority of the fanbase being introduced to the game in 2.0 or 2.1, I don't think many fans will have heard of, much less care about, Silent Clubstep.
There's also the nature of the verifiers. As of right now, the only people I could imagine beating it are icedcave and septagon. They are very good players, but they have kept a low profile up until now, and as such are basically unheard of by the public. The level itself isn't the only thing that drives view counts; the reputation of the verifier is also contributory. Of course, it is nice to see an skilled unknown player come out of the blue, but the majority tend to keep their eyes peeled only on the players that have a reputation.
And finally, as Dragon has already mention before me, community attention on extreme demons is dwindling. nSwish's verification video of The Golden has an absolutely pitiful amount of views for the current number one demon. It's harder than Tartarus, but no one cares, because there was no hype around it. That's what really gets levels attention; not the verification itself, but a reason to care about the verification. Maybe it was verified by a popular player. Maybe it looks nice, or it's a remake of an old level. But simply being hard is no longer a boon; it has to be mixed in with something else to really give it some appeal.
its probably not even number 1 lol

Listen there's no need to jump into some deep analysis about a silly topic like this. Simply put, I'm a player from 2014 so naturally I felt pretty excited seeing this being closer than ever to a legitimate verification. Perhaps I got a bit too carried away and forgot most players here are new and wouldn't understand the significance.
Though it still looks top 1 to me, I may be underestimating The Golden. Nonetheless, it'd be a massive achievement conquering this years-old challenge.
