Long story short, the creator of SC has finally returned to update his level into a more playable version in our current 2.11 era.
Even with the nerfs I'm pretty sure it's still #1 worthy by a long shot. Likely won't get rated, but the point is just imagine someone actually beating this level, unbelievable, and we may not have to wait too long for that to become a reality.

I mean yeah now it’s possible but the only reason there was a fraction of people who cared about this level was the fact that it’s impossible. Now it’s just completely irrelevant.

Extreme Demon rating is kinda different from others. It doesn't care abot the quality much while others does

Dragon, I actually believe it's quite the opposite. SC being more accessible to top players means more of them will now attempt it, possibly initiating races. Races can motivate even more players to give it a shot. Once someone finally does manage to verify it, both the level and his name will likely get a big popularity boost.
And about it being rated, yes the chances are always there, just like with TS, but it's not quite there yet in terms of deco even compared to TS. One reason I believe it maay get rated is the sheer legacy it has. The nerfs don't dramatically decrease its difficulty, so you're basically making history by verifying this.

The only top players who have enough skill to play this already have an army of subs so I doubt that’ll do much to really boost their careers further than they’ve already gone. Extreme demon completions, even top ones, are also treated pretty mundanely these days due to oversaturation. Silent Clubstep is also only really known to the much older player base, and the modern player base has fairly low familiarity with it so it wouldn’t even be that hype.

This is awesome, and if it does get rated it is very well possibly a top 5, maybe top 3 demon?

did we all collectively forget that rob doesn't rate, and has in the recent past unrated hacked verifications

If this gets beaten, I would support its rate for the same reason I support TS getting rated; its history. Being one of the levels to kickstart the trend for silent demons, it's definitely one of the most memorable demons for me, even if it's a shitty 1.8 level.

The Golden is nSwish's most popular video, even though it's a pretty recent completion and he has already done hundreds of other insane/extreme demons before. That's mostly because it's a top 1 demon. Same with Dolphy's Tartarus verification. My point was about the recognition the level gets more so than the subs gained for the verifier. And since this level very likely is #1 worthy in its current state, it should be able to generate some hype, like any potential top 1 demon often does. I'm already seeing some interesting progress runs on this.

The Golden is actually largely irrelevant in the realm of top demons. nSwish’s video of The Golden has a lot less views than the likes of Tartarus, Bloodlust, Yatagarasu, Crimson Planet, etc. Even Rori’s Renevant verification has received more views than The Golden‘s and Renevant wasn’t even top 1 when it released. Rori has less than half nSwish’s sub count as well. It was also largely insignificant towards nSwish’s subscriber growth. While it did gain him a larger amount of subs during the month of April (when it was verified), it didn’t boost his channel significantly the same way Zodiac boosted Technical’s channel or Bloodlust boosted Knob’s channel.

Fully agree with what you've said. But imo, SC has been irrelevant for the past few years because it was impossible for any human to actually get consistent at it, not because any individual part was apparently too difficulty. These nerfs don't ruin the level, they give top players the ultimate challenge this levels offers, without the unbearable inconsistencies caused by the physics issues. I bet that both of us can see this level rising again in popularity after verification (though not massively I admit). That's mainly for two reasons, it's a new top 1 demon, and many older players still do check on the game from time to time.

It’s a shitty old demon. Nobody will care, similarly to how River Styx received no attention. The people who cared about Silent Clubstep are largely gone. This can be seen by the lack of care people have for Silentium Gradas, a RATED remake. Lemme ask you this. If someone verified an updated Elite Z, would anyone care?

This is a level with much greater legacy than the ones you've mentioned, plus it's definitely top 1, unlike River Styx, Elite Z, or even Silent Club and Satanic Clubstep (recently verified). Probably wont receive that much attention from the current playerbase, but the achievement itself would likely be the most significant one since the inception of this game.
