To be honest, I feel like RobTop shining the spotlight on nostalgic GD levels is a great way to introduce newer players to the old levels of GD when levels used more simplistic level designs and classic feel and gives GD veterans a treat since they've most likely played older levels that were popular back then. When I saw Dorabae Basic 11 as a level, I was already familiar with the level's layout and it made me feel like I was playing levels pre-2.0.

I like it. Not only does it give me nostalgia to see older and familiar levels again, it also allows Rob to spend more time on 2.2 and not looking for a daily - he has to look through all levels he recently rated to find one the appropriate difficulty, has to play it to make sure it's relatively glitch-free, and also has to make sure it will run comfortably on most devices. Older levels run easily on most devices, and as long as he picks a level from 1.9 or later (since that was the last major physics change afaik), he doesn't have to worry about the level being unplayable that way.

I don't mind it. Quite frankly, I don't care if it acts as a trip down memory lane for the kids that think 1.9 was the best update. It more acts as a break from the shit that gets put out these days for me, as well as a reminder to the new kids that there's more than 'nice colours and lots of glow'.

Too true! I'd like to see him do levels from even before 1.9 as well!

As long as the level are fun, I don't mind it. There were weekly demons from early 2.0, so why not bring up some 1.9 gems as well?
