Let me explain. Even though it's picked up a little in the past few weeks, there was a time not too long ago when RobTop just couldn't do these changes on time. No new daily level, weekly demon, or new rates for hours on end. So what if Rob could implement a feature like this: RobTop rates whatever levels he wants to. The feature quickly scans over them (and only the ones he's just rated) and randomly picks a level from 3* to 9* (since those are the lowest and highest difficulties a daily can be afaik) before making it the daily level? Perhaps this feature could be programmed to pick the daily at a specific time, perhaps after Rob knows he will have rated levels. Perhaps it could be programmed to only pick any given level once unless Rob tells it otherwise. Perhaps it could do the same thing to the weekly demon, only on a weekly basis (Rob sometimes goes about that long without rating demons, but when he does rate them there's almost always at least one new easy or medium demon in there).
What do you think?

The dailies are random enough where I wouldn't be surprised if there were already determined by RNG.

What I'm sure about is that dailies and weeklies should have an object limit. Rob should care more about mobile players. For example, this weekly lags a crapton even with ldm. If laggy levels get daily/weekly, they should at least have a good ldm or uldm.

Random dailies would be great. We get dailies in a fair and timely manner, and RobTop gets a little extra time to work on 2.2 or sleep or whatever. And if a particularly good level comes out, he could just override the automatic selection and make that level the daily. Win-win.

assuming he still lives in sweden, the dummy has the daily set to 12:00am local time, which would technically make it a daily. if he really wants to keep it at that time, he may was well make it random so he can get some sleep. and he should rate levels earlier in the day as well, not at a time where he's bound to get complaints from neighbours.

Yes that would be a good idea as robtop can focus more on releasing 2.2
