Let's put aside the music for a while: it's too good.
Splitting into gameplay and decoration...
Gameplay
Like what Herobrine has said, the gameplay is really repetitive. Stacked with the short length (as a rule of thumb, at least build the level to 1m length, that is Long) the level is really boring to play. A good gameplay layout should have varied obstacles, good use of orbs and pads and triggers, and have good readability. The layout can be easily read - that's a good thing - but the level really lacks in variety. Here are some other tips:
- Sync your jumps with the music. Geometry Dash is a music-action game, not an action or precision game. Jumping with the music is 10x more fun than jumping and listening to random music. This is applicable to even this song: every song can be synced.
- Slopes are really useful for wave, especially mini wave. Due to the high ascension and descension speed of the mini wave, it is really painstaking to spam in the gamemode. They are also useful in other gamemodes (research and experiment on that) but it's best at wave.
- Orbs should be used more in order to make good gameplay as they are really good bridging tools between platforms and it gives a slight air mobility for cube, robot, ball, and anything that has no control in air. There are a wide variety of orbs so try them ALL. Pads help bridge gaps that are otherwise impossible with normal input, and also triggers movement without player input, which is handy for auto sections. (btw keep auto sections shorts)
Decoration
Have you realised that almost everything visible in this level is spikes? There are a TON of objects in 2.1. I mean a TON. Your level should consist of the background, the solid blocks, and the air decoration. Each of these must be full and fill the level properly. How you want to fill it is dependent on your style, but it must be full-fledged in order to look good. Here are a few tips that may help you in decorating.
- There is actually curved lines in Geometry Dash. If it's not large enough, you can always build perfect circles using Free Rotate or something similar. Refer to online tutorials for that if you want to know more.
- Free Move is really beneficial for placing something wherever you like, aiding the process of building more detailed bosses and creatures. You can also use Free Move to make some randomly places stars, items, etc. It looks more awesome when it's not aligned, to be honest.
- Give colour to the level through colour channels. Colour is one of the crucial elements in a level, and one can completely sabotage a level with bad colours. I'm telling from actual experience, please believe me. You will also want to learn how HSV works, and how to use different shades of gray grey red to introduce depth and detail to the level.
Verdict
Needs Improvement. The repetitive gameplay, the lacking decoration simply does not add up to a good level. Play good levels and look at how they make deco, if you get to copy them. You can really learn from others. Also, experiment yourself, start from something small like block deco for a couple of objects, until you are confident that you can apply it to the rest of the level. Persevere: a good level does not come easily.
