First of all, this level aims to create a game-like level but to be frank, this is just a short wave section with some gimmick. Game levels often include complicated trigger contraptions and are usually decorated like a normal game. Because of this, creating a game is really demanding and is not for the faint of heart.
Splitting into gameplay and decoration...
Gameplay Game concepts aside, this wave section is too short and quite boring to play. In my opinion, it is because dodging small obstacles is not really the challenge suitable for wave. Some parts are quite annoying, for example the verticl-super-fast-shooting spikes cover a really small range, and can be easily be dodged as long as you are not slacking on the ground. The item for slowing down does not really stand out as an item because the gameplay is still basically the same difficulty even without the item. The boss battle is also disappointing as it can be deconstructed to three shooting spikes. Paired with the short length, the gameplay is really forgettable overall.
Decoration
The decoration of the level is bland, with only simple circles, spikes and a gray background. Given that the 2.1 object set is super huge, this level of detail is really unsatisfactory. The player is also blocked by 2 plain black bars, which is also really boring to look at. Air decoration and background, which can help fill up empty spaces, are not present in this level. Generally, I can only see limited effort into adding more to the level apart from gameplay elements, making the level looks really meh.
I originally would give specific comments for both gameplay and decoration but this is so short I think there isn't a need to do so.
Verdict Needs Improvement. This level really lacks what a level needs. Before getting your feet wet at the game creation field in Geometry Dash, it is best and the most beneficial to you to learn what is good gameplay, what is good decoration, and what is good level. Sometimes it is best to put aside some dreams you have in GD, and learn the basics first.
PS I'm digging up levels that are months old... I should work harder to clear the board
