Both of these Woogi1411 levels are hard.

Which level do you think is harder? I think it's CO, but what do you think?

gamernerd000 I moved this to debate. It works much better there. OT: Colorful Overnight is definitely harder. The gameplay is just generally more challenging throughout. That’s all there really is to it.

As someone who's not extremely skilled but has beaten both in practice mode, Colorful Overnight blows Windy Landscape out of the water. I'll explain in the debate thread why.

In CO, you start with a simple c ube with no hard timings. Then it progresses into a tough ship and challenging wave due to the tight spaces and it's pretty hard to control, then there's a relatively easy UFO and an even more challenging mini-ship and mini-wave. Then there's another cube part with very little hard timings, but then the difficulty escalates with a very very tight UFO segment where you have little to no room to jump. As well as a simple ship and relatively difficult duals(not as hard as it looks. Just remember where to jump). Then the difficulty escalates even more with a dual ship part which gave me hell since almost every space is tight and narrow as well as being dark and hard to see which leads to many many deaths. The dual wave does nothing to make it easier. The dual cubes that follow are basically the same as the previous dual cubes near the beginning. The ending is extremely challenging and hard to time(where half of my attempts came from), though. Since you must be nearly perfect with everything. The dual balls are hell. Your timing must be perfect throughout the entire segment. The orbs are hard to hit without one of the balls crashing, and the jumps must be precise and timed well. The spikes don't help. Then there's a medium cube part at the end. Could be that I'm not extremely skilled.

Windy Landscape starts out really hard but gets progressively easier from the drop, Colorful Overnight however is a mix of hard and easy-ish parts. I'd say Colorful Overnight is harder but not by a lot. It's also buggier than WL.
Both levels are also beautiful for their times.

Windy Landscape starts out pretty easy actually. It's the dual ships and everything after that are medium/hard difficulty. Really hard level, but WL took me 700+ attempts in practice while CO took me 1000+ attempts in practice.

As someone who has beaten both, Colorful Overnight is definitely harder, but not by as much as a lot of people might think (CO is hard/insane, WL is high-mid hard).

kinda a necro, but i guess it relates. from what i have played, WL is easier than Stalemate (so hard demon range), and from what I have heard, CO is insane demon. ofc this isnt an indicator of anything, but it is food for thought.

WL is mainly carried by its first part, but even with that CO is apparently more difficult.
