You have probably heard a few songs that were sequels to other songs, an example of this is Zaphkiel and Catalyze by Kolkian, but also Betrayal of Fate/Beatrayal of Fear, and Another World (The song from Niflheim) and Dreamscape. So what do you think of these song sequels or whatever you want to call them?

Personally, I mostly like them. For example, I like Zaphkiel, and I like it slightly better than Catalyze but I loved both tracks.
On the other hand, not every sequel is guaranteed to be of good quality. I liked Electrodynamix, but imo the sequel was rather lacking and felt much emptier in terms of different sounds than the first.

Depends...
There are song sequels that are just much better than the original (Clutterfunk 2), some that are just as good as the originals (ToE 2 and 3) and some that are just disappointing (Electrodynamix 2). But overall, I like song sequels, I love a song, I hear it's going to have another version, I like
