sometimes in discord calls people get mad for messing up pronunciations. Is it:
A-thæ-nə-tous
OR
A-tha:-na:-tous
?

I prefer saying A tha na tos.
Because a thae ne tos, is much more difficult for me to pronounce, it also literally has an a on like 3 vowel spots. So yeah

I don't know how to read those 2 pronunciations I don't either, and no actual language nerd writes sound that way. That's why I used the IPA instead. |

uh taan uh tawss
It takes considerable effort for me to make both th sounds, I spoke normally when I was young but overtime I drifted towards D and T substitutes and never went back. Usually when I hear the TH sound clearly it actually gets on my nerves and I hate hearing it lol.
