whenever i try to record videos on my laptop, i always get some input lag, which prevents me from getting far on any reasonably difficult level. i also get an extreme amount of screen tearing, but that's not a huge issue. is there anyway to fix this input lag when recording, i have even tried recording in 360p with low obs settings and i still get a good amount of input delay. if you're wondering, i'm playing on fullscreen with v-sync off.

Some screen recorders cause input delay, such as OBS. If you’re using OBS then you’re gonna get some unavoidable input delay unfortunately.
If you aren’t using OBS, can you tell me what you’re using?

Oh, I'm using OBS, so I guess that is causing input delay. I'm not sure if there is a free alternative to it that doesn't cause input delay.

If you have an Nvidia graphics card you should be able to use Shadowplay. That's what I use and it yields good video quality. Do you have nvidia?

Sorry, it's been 2 days since you responded. I have found a way to record with OBS without input lag. Thank you for offering to help though! Dragon please move to resolved?
