Wow, this is a really cool thing. I've never though the cube will be able move backwards (not counting the mirror portals). This will probably lead to some creative gameplay.

Cool. With this and the camera controls, I predict that there will be levels where the player must climb a tower-like structure to reach the goal.
And no, levels using some rectangular substitute for the player and everything with their Z-Layers in T1, T2, and T3, to make the actual player not visible, do not count in this case.

So I'm assuming that there will still be a ceiling for free fly mode, otherwise the player might die out of bounds, but that would be interesting too.

To me, it seems like a new "line" option. In RobTop's video about camera control, the line glows at the beginning. However, when the free fly is previewed, the ground does not glow. So I'm pretty sure he just did it for extra effects. |
