Hello everyone, I'll just get straight into it. Whenever I play a level my in-game fps drops and I lag. I have tried Low Detail mode, changed graphics to low, windowed mode, changed resolutions, changed smooth fix and vertical sync (switched one on and the other off tried it twice then tried both of them off and on) and even grab low detail mode key in a level but I still manage to get lag. It is not screen tearing, it's just dropping of FPS. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks My specs: Processor: AMD A6-7310 APU with AMD Radeon R4 Graphics 2.00 GHz RAM: 8.00 GB System Type: 64-bit

hey there! after doing some look into it i managed to find a compelling piece of evidence which kinda shows where you're having trouble. www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/requirements/geometry-dash/12750the following link shows that a minimum requirement to run geometry dash is a 2.0ghz processor, this would mean you're barely scraping by and alot of fps issues would follow that in suit. there's only a few options for this unfortunately. either get a new processor and install it, whether you goto a pc store or learn to do it yourself. or get a new computer to play on. oh and incase you're wondering, can i run it, is a very useful website which often shows what parts you're lacking in order to play a game.

Thank you for taking your time to reply and copy and paste my specs in that website. I understand I have the minimum requirements but the way my fps is dropping it feels as if I'm playing the game in GameBoy Color. Like, I have played a couple of RPG games in which I didn't even have the minimum requirements but as soon as I put the graphics low as possible, the game runs smoothly. I guess that does not work for geometry dash.

I tried the tips and it worked in some way especially when I changed priority, but im still facing some lag that makes me unable to beat the level. You were right, I need to buy a new processor or upgrade it. Thanks for the replies and helps I tried playing Fusion ll and as soon as it gets to the drop fps drops with it as well, and all nine circle levels.

Thanks for the replies and helps I tried playing Fusion ll and as soon as it gets to the drop fps drops with it as well, and all nine circle levels. i see, well first off fusion 2 uses ALOT of objects and lags on even my computer sometimes. and thats a 3.80 ghz. as for nc levels they they were made in 1.9 and to explain instead of using basic color switching such as the pulse trigger it uses the color trigger which is often used very quickly so again it'd cause lag. basically levels which either have alot of objects or constant color switching tend to be laggy. so it's most likely because of that. either way at least it worked a little. and hopefully you can get a better processor some time! and have fun! ^w^ oh and if you need anything else gimmie a tag.
