Dope, this is gonna be really fun I can tell ;3; It's probably gonna be one person saying something every 2 minutes and then the others going "yeah" or "oh"

Congrats all (: If I could be a 'special guest' (I'm barely special apart from being a great unknown creator) that would be awesome, although my mother wouldn't like me talking to strangers. I could explain though ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I have a great idea for the main cast. You know how the quality of their voice is lowered through voice chat? Like in their place, their voice sounds fine, but what the other person will hear is a kinda walkie-talkie like sound with the original voice. To ensure each cast member has a great quality of voice in the podcast, you can have each person record their own voice with something like Windows Sound Recorder or Audacity (RECOMMENDED).
Then, they would send the audio file to the leader of podcasts (Im guessing it's Ian? I'm not so sure who it is so correct me if I'm wrong.), or they'll send it to someone who has good editing skills (For all I know, Ian's vids are Everyplay, and that's a no-no for podcasts), and that person will put all the audio clips together.
Thing is, you'll all have to record at the same time "You can just go 1 2 3 start" and have everyone start recording from there, but you won't be allowed to talk until everyone has been recording for about 5 seconds. That way, Audacity can pick up just the noise, so you can use Noise Reduction easier.
Since it's a podcast, video won't matter, you could just take the thumbnail of the video, or something like that and have it go on the whole time. Then the editor will have to mix the voices, and by that, I mean make sure one voice isn't louder than the other.
TIP: If you use Audacity, search vids on how to make your voice sound better.
Oh yeah, and make some cheesy intro for the beginning, and on top of that, have a voice intro set (By that I mean something you said at the beginning of every video. EXAMPLE, I always say "Hey, what's up you guys? Hi Y3Ti here. Except I'm not Hi Y3Ti anymore.).
Here's an idea:
"Hey, I'm Apopo." (Assuming Ian is also part of the cast) "What's new everyone, I'm Igno." "Hi there, I'm WaterArko." "What's going on, I'm Kappsta!" "Sup everyone, I'm Noice." Everyone: And you're watching GD Podcasts Ian: In these podcasts, we talk about Geometry Dash, and other somewhat related topics. In this podcast, our main topic will be: *topic* And to join us, we have a special guest star/some special guest stars, *name them*
Something like that. Hope I helped! :3

The forum podcast was an idea originally started by @bengd but unfortunately died because of poor management. This time however, we will have a more organized format and management. This forum has an official youtube channel run by staff that you can find < here>. The podcast will not be live-streamed. The podcast will have a main cast of 3-5 members, and a special guest occasionally. It will be recorded every 2 weeks on saturday, and uploaded to yt on sunday. the first episode will be going up in december. the main cast has been decided on. it will be me, Igno , Waterarko , @kappstablook , and @bengd (make sure to check your discord) I was wondering if I could help in anyway? I mean I wouldn't be a cast member but I could work behind it all?

I was linked to this externally, but I guess if I'd known about it before I would've been totally down for being a member speaking in this podcast. If you do want me in this (although I suspect that I'm very late to the party) contact me on Discord or something, this sounds really fun

No this is what happens if you do that. You select the first quiet 3-5 seconds. Provided you didn't talk, that should be just noise, whether it be microphone feedback, or the fans on a computer. You would select the effect Noise Reduction and click "Get Noise Profile". Then select the whole audio clip, choose the effect Noise Reduction, but this time, click ok. If you want more details I'll send you my reference video from where I learnt it.Since it's a podcast, video won't matter, you could just take the thumbnail of the video, or something like that and have it go on the whole time. Then the editor will have to mix the voices, and by that, I mean make sure one voice isn't louder than the other. It's been happening, Ian is trying to record them and publish them, but we are yet to have a successful one.
