The question isn't when... It's if no, it's a matter of removing "when" all together Sometimes in the math class, you might hear your teacher saying 2.1 as a number randomly, if he/she says it. scream as loud as you can "IT WILL NEVER COME OUT!" And you will never comeback to the class too!

For the billionth time, these orbs had BETTER be retroactive In my opinion, if orbs were retroactive they would be pretty much pointless because older players would basically have enough to buy everything. Think about FunnyGame, RyanAB, and other people who have been around since 1.0... they would get so many orbs that they would be pretty much worthless. It's more fun to start from scratch when new things are added so you actually enjoy the effort you put into the game to get something out of it. I vehemently disagree. I think it's much fairer to have them already be awarded - why would I play levels I know I can beat now, when I can just use them to farm orbs later? It's the first real disconnect that's being added to the game for me. (I thought it was gonna be dailies but those turned out ok, this just slayed my hype though.)

I have 2 huge problems with this new change. One is being this should have never even been thought of until 2.2 as now the update will likly be released very late November-December (that is if RubRub stops adding new things and just releases it when the bugs are squashed, if not then it could be released as late as March.) My second problem with this is orbs not beging awarded to levels you have already beaten. I understand why RubRub is doing this but in reality its a very very bad idea. What doing this means is that players like Michigun who have beaten lets say 75% of all levels, wont have the orpituinity to get mana without beating Demons or impossible broken 1.2 levels. I say its just rude to do that. I have a simple way of fixing that too and it not only punishes players who have played the game before 2.1 but also rewards them a little bit so they dont have to be forced to play impossible levels for small amounts of mana, (basiccaly a new player has the chance to get more mana than experienced players) that simple fix is to give only 50% or the mana they would have gotten if they beat it in 2.1. That would be fair.
If RubRub dosent give mana to older players I might just create a new account and farm back up, it would be alot easier and cuz I personally have beaten no hard demons it wouldent hurt me to bad. But to those players that have beatn levels they wish to not replay, RIP this update squashes the easieness of getting mana.
Another way RubRub can fix this is to create mods that feature levels for him so then we would have likly 5x more levels starred and featured. Making mana a million times easier to get as you can just farm new levels, and they replenish almost fast as Michigun can beat them.

If we get mana orbs from levels we've already beaten, most people who have played for more than a few months (which is pretty much everyone) will unlock everything instantly and it won't be fun. And even michigun still has some easier levels left to play. About robtop featuring more levels, he said that the problem was if he featured more than he already does, each level would get fewer views. He did mention he would try to make a system of sorts to fix this in later updates. But it would be nice to have a few mods that can directly feature levels

He did mention he would try to make a system of sorts to fix this in later updates. But it would be nice to have a few mods that can directly feature levels Here is the dilemma Im like 99% certain things in the shop are gonna cost a ridiculous amount (espiccialy later into the shop) thats just how these games work otherwise everyone would buy out everything in a very short time, but it still stands why punish good players so hevily as they will not have the option to get as much mana as fast as new players. After thinking about it more I do believe 50% payment is still a bit much. More like 20-35% seems more fair. Here is my breakdown on how I hope and think the shop will work, making it be a challenge for nee and old players alike while not punishing anyone too heavily. As Robtob used in his example, if a level is worth 100 MO and you beat it thats 125 MO lets say on average easy levels like 2 or 3 star level will get 20 MO, 25 for win, and demons will get 100 MO (unless its an extreme demon then Maybe more) so if the current rating system is stull used the avrage star amount is 7* Maybe 7* is worth 70 MO thats 88 MO for completion. Using Michigun again as an example, he currently has 46064* if the avrage level is 7* thats around 6580 levels he has beaten, 6580x88 MO is 579 040 MO now divide that by 4 for the cost of beating them before the update and he is left with 144 760 MO. Im guessing that Rob is gonna load the store with upwards of around 30 items in this update, from icons to backgrounds we will be able to by upwards of 30 things. Im guessing the first few items will be 25-100 MO then later on (after 10 or so items) it will cost upwards of thousands of MO as there has to be a challenge towards it. Likly the last few items will be new block types or sound effects or Maybe the ability to change practice music. Im sure Rub wants that to be insanly hard to get so Maybe that will cost 50 000-100 000 MO even with michiguns over 100 000 MO taking away the cost of all previous items he would be left with few MO to buy the final few items sure he gets the first 15 for his previous work but because he didnt beat it in 2.1 he dosent get it all and still needs to work for it. This would make sense and still make it a challenge for all players from new to old.
