Hello everybody, Deltablu here.
Today, I have a piece of news that excites a lot of Geometry Dash players, myself included.
Overview
After an extended period of inactivity, Geometry Dash player, Zenthicalpha, has returned.
Before I launch into the details of this, here's some background information on Zenthicalpha:
Zenthicalpha is a very well-known creator in the Geometry Dash community. Before Viprin overtook him, he used to be the player with the most creator points in the game. Out of all of the players in the game, he has created/published the most demon-rated levels, including Supersonic, Ultrasonic, Furyfunk, Furylocked, Furystep, and Furydynamix. Zenthicalpha has also participated in a number of megacollaborations such as The Ultimate Phase, A Bizarre Phantasm, Supersonic, and Ultrasonic.
Cybershock
Now that I've clarified who he is, let's talk about what he brought with him upon his return.
After his period of inactivity, Zenthicalpha has come back, and he has brought a new level with him, titled Cybershock.
Video of Cybershock by Zenthicalpha:
Cybershock seems to have received some inspiration from the level Sirius by Funnygame when constructing his level, especially concerning the structure of the level.
Sequence of Vehicles in Cybershock:
The most notable part of this level is the last segment, which happens to be a boss fight. This is the first level made by Zenthicalpha with a boss fight, and I think we can all agree that this boss fight was constructed exceptionally. It is undoubtedly one of the best designed boss fights in the game.
For now, I cannot say much else concerning this matter, other than I hope that we will see much more activity from Zenthicalpha in the future, and I hope that he continues to create exceptional levels in Geometry Dash.
(I know that Zenthicalpha has been slightly active lately, but this post is focused towards his prior inactivity concerning his creation of new levels)
Extra Information
(A section I decided to make, explaining some mentioned aspects of the article)
Supersonic:
A demon-rated megacollaboration published by Zenthicalpha in Update 1.9. The level had an enormous impact on the community, due to the fact that many of the most skilled creators in the game had come together and created a level. Supersonic was considered a very hard/insane demon back in 1.9, but as the difficulty of the game and the skill of the players continuously increased, the level's difficulty has dropped to a hard demon.
Creators of Supersonic:
Ultrasonic:
A demon-rated megacollaboration published by Zenthicalpha in Update 1.9. This level is still on the Official Top 50 Hardest Demons list, but is unfortunately placed at the bottom. This is considered a sequel to Supersonic, and had lots of creators in common. This level is mainly associated with 2 parts that are generally considered annoying gameplay:
Gboy's Ball: A series of tightly spaced spikes on different platforms to be navigated through at triple speed. It requires a somewhat insane amount of spamming to pass (is a bit easier if a trick is used)
Sumsar's Mini Wave: Cleverly placed at the end of the level, Sumsar created a mini wave part where the player is required to keep a mini wave stable through a somewhat considerably tight space with two gravity switches. This part is only moderately difficult, but since it is placed at the end of the level, the player is anxious to beat the level, and usually crashes at this part at least once.
Creators of Ultrasonic:
Thank you for taking the time to read this post! Expect more to come in the future!
