Initial ThoughtsThe gameplay looks pretty fun. The main flaw would be the first ship with its black-shaded portals and orbs. Design seems to have a few cool ideas, but there isn't too much variety in the air decorations. Sync seems to be pretty good. 0-15%Gameplay here is pretty good. The main problem is that the yellow jump pads can blend into the white glowing objects on the ground. This is especially a problem with low detail mode on. The designs are good, but could use some more variety. It would also be better if the objects inside the blocks pulsed with the lines. Also, I don't think using pulsing objects is the best move, as they are too small due to the quiet music here. I do like how the background laser has lower opacity, though. Really, it just feels too underdecorated. Sync is very good here, even if it is a little forced by rapid color changes. This part contributes 3 points to gameplay. (45) This part contributes 1.5 points to design. (22.5) This part contributes 2 points to sync. (30) 15-32%The ship part has a few problems in gameplay, due to the orbs and portals being black-shaded and hard to tell apart. At least there aren't too many there. The ball part doesn't have any problems gameplay-wise. The ship is rather original design-wise in that the internal designs are moving and get hidden by the background. It shows great use of layering. It could use some more air deco though. The block part isn't as good as the ship, as it could use different types of decorations within the blocks. At least they face different ways instead of just being in a single line, making it pretty good. I like the moving background decorations. The layering of the ground decoration is very well made. The sync is still very good. This works very well with all the flashes and color changes. This part contributes 2.5 points to gameplay. (42.5) This part contributes 3 points to design. (51) This part contributes 2 points to sync. (34) 32-51%The gameplay here has no problems. The moving objects are used well and don't impede gameplay. The block designs are pretty good. The background isn't quite the most original, but it uses moving objects to work well. Also the pulsing ground is very good. However, the slow mini cube right before the wave drop has just about no decoration. Sync is still very good, with well-used color flashes. This part contributes 4 points to gameplay. (76) This part contributes 3 points to design. (57) This part contributes 2 points to sync. (38) 51-75%The gameplay here is very good, and has no problems. It provides a good challenge. The designs in the wave part are pretty good, and have great variety. However, the ball part doesn't have enough design variety. It is literally just lines and glowing objects. A good way to improve it would be to use types of ground deco such as the spike deco added in 1.0. The decoration is a little copy-pasted, because it doesn't have any varieties in scale, contrast, hue, brightness, or opacity. That would definitely improve the variety. I really like the background though, it is original and very well made. The sync is still really good. This part contributes 4 points to gameplay. (96) This part contributes 2.5 points to design. (60) This part contributes 2 points to sync. (48) 75-100%The gameplay here does not appear to have any notable problems. The designs are pretty cool, and use pulsing objects well. The decoration is pretty varied, but could use a few small changes in changing various aspects, as noted in the last part. Sync is still really good. This part contributes 4 points to gameplay. (100) This part contributes 3 points to design. (75) This part contributes 2 points to sync. (50) Gameplay (18/20)The beginning doesn't really start out that good, gameplay-wise. After the first third of the level, the gameplay gets much better. Design (13.3/20)Most of it is very good, especially in the wave after the drop. The main problem would be that some parts aren't as good, especially the ball after the drop, which lacks much in the way of designs. Sync (10/10)The sync is really good. Originality (1.1x)This level is full of lots of original ideas. Total (45.4/60)Feature Worthy. This level has really fun gameplay and great sync. The design is generally pretty good, except for a few rough patches. DifficultyEasy
